If you take transit, bike, carpool, or walk to work, Commuter Connections will call you a taxi or even order you a rental car at NO COST TO YOU!

What is Guaranteed Ride Home?

The Guaranteed Ride Home Program (GRH) provides commuters who regularly (2 times per week) take public transportation, bike, walk, or carpool/vanpool to work and live Washington DC metropolitan region with a free guaranteed ride home for emergencies or when you unexpectedly have to work overtime. This service is available up to four times per year.

How to Register?

Register with Commuter Connections GRH Application or call them at 1-800-754-7433. Once they process your application, and you meet the requirements, they’ll mail you a Commuter ID card to use when you need to use the service.
