
Bike to Work Day (BTWD) is cruising back into Tysons on Friday, May 15. Thousands of riders will hit the streets to celebrate the joy of biking and swap their usual commutes for something more enjoyable. For the second year in a row, The Boro is hosting an afternoon pit stop with a beach-themed twist!
Ride in after work, grab food and drink, and enjoy a lively community gathering in the heart of The Boro.
Set your route
The Boro Park, at the intersection of Silver Hill Dr. and Broad St., offers an easy place to stop, whether you want to make a quick visit or stay and relax outside.

What to expect
Stop by to enjoy everything the pit stop has to offer, including:
- Free food and refreshments
- Fun giveaways and raffle prizes
- Live DJ and activities
- Chances to connect with fellow riders and local organizations
- Beach-themed photo spot
- Free bike tune ups from NOVA Cycleworks
Registration isn’t required to attend. However, registered riders who stop by will receive the official 2026 BTWD t-shirt, while supplies last.

The Boro Bike & Beach Bash is a fun, welcoming way to discover how accessible biking can be, whether you’re curious about getting started or just exploring a new way to get around. Stop by to connect with local organizations, ask questions, and pick up tips and resources to help you feel more confident biking in Tysons.
If you don’t have a bike, you can still join the fun. Capital Bikeshare stations are located right at The Boro, making it easy to hop on and ride to the pit stop. Single rides start at just a few cents per minute, or opt for a day pass or annual membership. It’s a quick and easy way to join the ride!
