The Silver Line runs from Wiehle-Reston Station to Largo Town Center in Maryland and connects to the Orange, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green Lines.The Silver Line runs every 6 minutes during rush hour and every 12-15 minutes during off-peak times and weekends. The Metrorail is open Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 11:30 pm. Friday, 5:00am – 1:00am. Saturday, 7:00am – 1:00am, and Sunday, 8:00am – 11:00 pm.

What is a SmarTrip Card?
A SmarTrip card is a rechargeable farecard used to pay Metrorail, Metro bus, and local bus systems in Virginia, Maryland, and DC.

Why buy a SmarTrip Card?
A SmarTrip Card is necessary for any commuter in the area. You will need a SmarTrip card to park at any Metro lot. SmarTrip uses also receive free bus-to-bus transfers and reduced bus-to-rail transfers.

How much is a SmarTrip Card?
Single SmarTrip Cards are $10 and cost $2 for the actual card and come with a stored value of $8.
